FlyCircuit 3D Neural Image Demo Database

The National Center for High-Performance Computing's Computational Biology Team has collaborated with Tsinghua University's Center for Brain Science to create the world's first 3D neural image database. This groundbreaking "FlyCircuit" database utilizes high-performance computing resources to process vast amounts of 3D neural image data from the fruit fly's brain. It analyzes connections between neurons, constructing a comprehensive neural network map. Researchers worldwide can easily access and explore 3D neural images through a cloud-based service, as well as upload their own fruit fly neural images for analysis. With approximately 100,000 neurons in a fruit fly's brain, the database aims to complete a full map.
